Happy National Travel and Tourism Week! We are thrilled that our communities are starting to open back up as we begin to discover our new normal. In an effort to continue to promote social distancing guidelines, we will once again host this months SKAL event online. To kick us off, Dannette Lynch with Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association will be on hand to help answer any of our questions about opening back up and predictions for the future. Then, we play! Enjoy our virtual tavern games as Young SKAL Takeover with trivia and more!
We invite you to support our local restaurants by purchasing a to-go meal and join us from the comfort of your home for our May Virtual SKAL Dinner.
As such, there will be no fee to register, so we welcome you to extend this invitation to your other industry colleagues to both learn more about SKAL and find encouragement in this time. Prior to our digital event, you will receive a link for meeting software called “Zoom.” This service is best experienced on a tablet, laptop or computer (rather than a smart phone) and requires the installation of the software. Please take time to install and test this prior to our 6pm meeting start time so you can fully enjoy our meeting with us. A list of Q&A troubleshooting can be found HERE, or reach out to me directly to assist!
Now, more than ever, it’s important to remember that we are all in this together – just make sure you are doing so at least 6 feet apart.
